What does the PSRC offer you?

Quality Materials

The PSRC provides links to quality educational resources for teachers, students, and others interested in physics and astronomy. The collection contains a balance of resource types, ranging from lesson plans, labs, and simulations, to reference materials and best-practice curriculum support. The collection is open for suggestions from all registered users, with all materials reviewed and cataloged by the PSRC editors and librarians.

We are a service provided by the American Association of Physics Teachers and supported, in part, by the National Science Foundation as part of the ComPADRE Pathway in the National Science Digital Library.

A Personal Filing Cabinet

As a registered user of the PSRC, you may collect and share your favorite resources from the collection. You can select resources from all of ComPADRE, sort them into folders, annotate the folders and the links, and select folders to share with other users.

Discussion Forums

Registered users can share their thoughts about physical science and education through the PSRC blogs and discussion forums. These are provided to promote discussions within the community. We welcome and encourage your participation by asking questions or posting your ideas. You can initiate your own thread within a forum or suggest a new forum topic for discussion.

Comments on Resources

Your experiences using the resources available in the PSRC and ComPADRE can benefit other users. Registered users can add their comments on any resource. These comments may be a lesson plan used along with the resource, experiences of students using the material, or just a general comment or impression. The shared knowledge of the community makes all of the materials more useful.

Material Ratings

The PSRC offers a simple five-star rating system for anyone to leave a quick impression of materials, with 5 stars being the highest quality.
