Fourier Program
written by Wolfgang Christian
The Fourier program displays the Fourier transform of a user-defined complex spatial function of position. The default spatial function is a complex Gaussian. Additional parameters can be specified using the Display | Switch GUI menu item.

Fourier is an Open Source Physics program written for the teaching of mathematical methods in the sciences. It is distributed as a ready-to-run (compiled) Java archive.  Double clicking the math_fourier.jar file will run the program if Java is installed.  Other mathematical methods programs are also available.  They can be found by searching ComPADRE for Open Source Physics, OSP, or Math.

Please note that this resource requires at least version 1.5 of Java.
