This site provides access to four videos that compare the trajectory of a spool launched toward a camera with the initial rotation of the spool when fired. The air around the spool will exert a force perpendicular to the axis of rotation, pushing the object off of the straight path trajectory. It is part of a collection of typical lecture demonstration videos put together by the physics department at Wake Forest University.
