This java application displays stars in a specified portion of the sky. The user can select a point in the sky, width of field, and magnitude and the simulation displays stars from the Hipparcos and Tycho Catalogs in the specified region and greater than the specified magnitude. Stars can be selected from the image to get more information and comparison between stars.
