This page describes the Just-in-Time Teaching (JiTT) pedagogical strategy. This instructional approach uses feedback between classroom activities and work that students do at home, in preparation for classroom meetings. Among the goals are to increase learning during class, motivate students, and help instructors class activities to best meet student needs. This article describes the methods used, the theory behind the method, and the student learning outcomes.
