This animation gives students a highly visual way to see how the math works in vector addition. Users can input 2-5 forces. The animation then shows the parallel translations of the force arrows and auto-generates the resultant. This resource can be viewed in either HTML5 or as a Java applet.

This resource is part of a large collection of interactive resources developed for physics education.

Please note that this resource requires at least version 1.4.1 of Java.
