This is an online physics course on light and optics designed for elementary and middle school teachers. The course covers ray optics, the spectrum, mirrors and lenses, and energy. This is one of several courses designed to provide professional development opportunities that address national and state science standards and requirements for teacher quality. This work has received support by the Department of Education (FIPSE).
