Website Detail Page
written by
David Stern
This page and its related materials describe, in simple terms, the physics of magnetic fields and the history of its discovery. Included is the work of Halley, Oersted, Ampere and Maxwell. It also describes a way of demonstrating it in the classroom, using a vu-graph projector. Later sections #5, #5a and #6 extend this to magnetic field lines and electromagnetism. This is part of large site on the earth's magnetic field.
