Helium Spectrum Analysis
written by
Nina Abramzon and the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona
This file includes the materials for an experiment to determine the wavelengths emitted by hydrogen and helium. The hydrogen spectrum is used to calibrate the spectrometer, which is then used to make accurate measurements of the helium spectrum. The spectral data are used to identify the atomic transitions.
