Energy and Communications: How Can We Send and Receive Information?
published by
the New York Science, Technology, and Society Education Project
This teacher's guide and education module contains student activities related to the physics of electronic communications. These materials are developed for use in middle schools. The materials are divided into four units covering communications, circuits, electromagnetism, light, and sound. The units each contain several activities, teaching tips, supplementary resources, and interdisciplinary connections. Several design and construction activities are included.
The top document on this page contains the Introduction and Table of Contents. The Primary Documents link can be opened to access the units for this module.
This is one of several similar modules and activity books regarding science, technology, and societal issues.
